DW/BI (II) - OLAP (Length: 30 hours) Business Solution: By learning the ins and outs of dimensions, CUBES, interfaces, wizards, and working with the more advanced features of Analysis Services, students will achieve a complete and correct understanding of how to use Analysis Manager to create cubes for their own databases. Students will create and work with cubes to highlight the core and advanced Analysis Services components and functionality. Throughout the course, students test what they learn by performing many labs, plus two case study modules. Students should be able to build real-world applications for their businesses that are complex and that give users useful analysis information. Description: This 30-hour course provides students with skills to create and deploy OLAP, online analytical processing, by using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services. Audience: This course is intended for business analysts, database developers, database administrators, and database architects who are responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of OLAP applications.
