Part 4. Virtual Private Networks

Cryptography: Encryption principles; symmetric and asymmetric key cryptography; encryption standards; DES; 3DES; cipher block chaining; cipher feedback mode; hash functions.
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) fundamentals: Athentication Header (AH); Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP); Internet Key Exchange (IKE) and Internet Security Association and Key Management Protocol (ISAKMP); traffic policy; VPN deployment considerations and architectures; NAT and PAT considerations; site-to-site VPNs; client-based VPNs.
IPSec should be included in this section too.

Part 5. Microsoft Windows Server Security

Windows server configuration and hardening; client connectivity; managing domains and domain controllers; trust relationships; user account management. Active Directory Services.
The following Windows security mechanisms should be add in this section (16):
· NTFS and FAT file system
· NTFS sharing and security permissions
· MS Security fundamental (public key infrastructure, EFS encryption/decryption, CA, IPSec Policies, Kerberos)

Part 6. Unix/Linux Server Security

Unix/Linux server configuration and hardening; client connectivity; standard shell commands and daemons; secure shell; user account management; file system security; service configuration and security.
