NETWORK SECURITY FUNDAMENTALS AND PRACTICES (NSFP) ( 60 HOURS) OVERVIEW This 80-hour course covers a wide variety of technologies and practices
being used to secure today's networked world. By explaining the concept,
and using configuration and management tasks ranging from the setup of
secured servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and Virtual Private Networks
(VPNs) through the development of comprehensive enterprise security architecture,
security policies and security auditing methods, it introduces the student
to the fundamentals and practices of network security and information
assurance. Hands-on labs and or case studies that emphasize essential
real world network security projects using Cisco, Checkpoint, Microsoft,
