Student Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic Transact-SQL syntax (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements). Knowledge of Windows® Script programming principles Understanding of basic relational database concepts, including: Logical and physical database design. Data integrity concepts. Relationships between tables and columns (primary key and foreign key), one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many relationships. How data is stored in tables (rows and columns). Course Overview: This 30-hour, instructor-led course is divided into eleven (11) modules. Some modules are short and some are long, depending on the subject matter. The sequence of the modules-and the content of each-is designed to build from defining data warehousing structures and star schema data load requirements in a data warehouse to using DTS to populate star schemas.
